Feel free to contact us for any additional information about donations and if requesting donation refund or cancellation.
All payments will be processed in the currency of the Republic of Serbia, i.e. dinars (RSD). Indicative amounts in other currencies are based on the official middle exchange rate published by the National Bank of Serbia. The amount charged to your payment card will be converted into dinars based on the exchange rate used by card networks, which is unknown to us at the time of the transaction. As a result, there may be a slight discrepancy compared to the original amount displayed on our website. Thank you for your understanding.
You can pay for your online orders using the IPS scanning method. When you select IPS scanning, you will be redirected to a page displaying a one-time IPS QR code generated by the acquiring bank (name of acquiring bank). Using the mobile banking app installed on your mobile device, scan or import the data from the generated IPS QR code and complete the payment easily, in the secure environment of your bank. Information about the payment outcome will be displayed on our website immediately after the transaction is processed, and will also be sent to you by email.
If you are visiting the online store via your mobile phone, you can also make a payment via IPS scanning by selecting the bank whose app you wish to use for the transaction after choosing the IPS scanning method, and then clicking the payment button. This will open the selected bank’s mobile banking app, where you can confirm the payment, just as you would after scanning the IPS QR code.
Refund requests related to completed payments (donations) may be submitted in case of:
1) card misuse;
2) incorrectly entered amount (extra zeros, etc.).
In the event of a request based on one of the above reasons, the request should be submitted by forwarding the email with the transaction confirmation to mivanovic@unicef.org, along with a scanned refund request in free form, stating the reasons for the request. The request must include the cardholder’s signature, a scanned copy of their ID card, and a contact phone number. We will contact the requester, and the funds will be refunded within 30 days after contact has been established. Refunds will be issued to the account linked to the payment card used for the donation.
Requests can also be sent by post to the following address: United Nations Children's Fund, Svetozara Markovića 58, 11000 Belgrade Serbia. Postal requests must include all the same elements as those sent via email.
In case of refunding the donor who has previously paid with some of the payment cards, regardless of the reason for the refund, the United Nations Children’s Fund is obliged to refund only through VISA, EC/MC and Maestro payment methods, which means that the bank will, on the request of the seller, perform refund on the card user's account.
On behalf of the United Nations Children’s Fund, we commit ourselves to protect the privacy of all our customers. We collect only necessary, basic customer/user/donor data and information necessary for doing business and informing customers/users in accordance with good business practices and in order to provide quality service. We give customers the choice, including the ability to decide whether they want or not to be deleted from the mailing lists used for marketing campaigns. All user/customer/donor information is strictly kept and only available to employees who need this information to perform the job. All employees of the United Nations Children’s Fund (and business partners) are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.
When entering payment card information, confidential information is transmitted through a public network in a secure (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol and PKI system, as the most up-to-date cryptographic technology. The security of data during the purchase is guaranteed by the payment card processor, so the entire payment process is carried out in a secure environment. Your card information is not available to our system at any time.
If you have any questions about the information provided above, please contact UNICEF by completing and submitting the feedback form.
