What is the UNICEF Friends Club?

The UNICEF Friends Club is an opportunity for all companies that care about society and want to make a lasting contribution to improving the lives of children in Serbia. The Club brings together like-minded people who believe that the business community has a role to play in creating an environment where every child can grow, develop and reach their full potential. Our goal is to support children and young people to grow up into confident and fulfilled individuals who will one day be able to take on our roles and contribute to the future of their communities.

A significant number of children and young people in Serbia remain unseen and excluded from society, unable to fully enjoy the rights and opportunities they deserve. That is why your support is important. Membership in the Friends Club helps more children access early education, healthcare services and the protection and care they need to grow up in a safe and supportive family environment.

How can companies support the UNICEF Friends Club?

Companies become members of the Club through regular monthly donations, whose amount is determined by each company according to its possibilities and wishes. Monthly donations enable UNICEF to continuously work towards improving the lives of children and young people, while allowing your company to put its values into action and make a meaningful contribution to society

The support we receive from the business community has proven to be a force that changes the lives of children, young people and their families across Serbia:

OTP Bank provided financial support for purchasing essential medical equipment that helps save the lives of premature babies in Serbia. Thanks to this donation, UNICEF supported the procurement of a vehicle for home visiting services for the Health Centre in Pirot, two incubators for Clinical Center in Zemun and a mobile X-ray machine for premature babies at the Clinical Centre in Kragujevac.

Thanks to a strategic partnership with NELT Group, children from 30 schools in rural areas of Serbia are gaining skills necessary for the 21st century. These include: digital literacy, teamwork, decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
