About UNICEF in Serbia
What do we do?
Our organisation supports reform processes in the Republic of Serbia in order to ensure that every child is able to exercise rights in the fields of early childhood development, education, child protection, but also to provide conditions for the development of adolescents and young people. We work closely with decision makers and policy makers, on the one hand, and, on the other, we act as an independent voice of children and youth. This way we can point to where their rights are violated and, at the same time, offer solutions that can be applied at the national level, through our various campaigns, implemented thanks to donations made to UNICEF Serbia.
Who do we work with?
In the fight for the rights and welfare of children, our main partner is the Government of the Republic of Serbia, but also the National Assembly and the Assembly of the AP Vojvodina, civil society organisations and independent human rights monitoring bodies, academia, local communities, families, children and youth.
Who else is our important partner?
We also partner with the private sector - multinational corporations, local companies and small businesses, pooling our resources and knowledge and driving innovation supporting our work.
How you can help?
Long-term support ensures that assistance reaches the children who need it most and that change is sustainable. Through membership in the Blue Club of UNICEF in Serbia, individuals have the opportunity to provide regular, long-term support and become part of a community creating lasting change.
